ARES is Sponsored by CA Approved Program Sponsor: FourM Education Cosmetology and Barbering Apprenticeship Committee. FourM is approved by DAS & Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. At Ares, our students receive an Apprentice license, which allows them to work in the establishment of their choice along with their program sponsor. Once our students have met the required hours and curriculum they qualify to take the State Board exam for licensure.

Cosmetology
CA Apprenticeship Program- Licensure Classes
- Exam Prep Classes only once a week
- Receive a CA BBC Apprenticeship License
- Work at an Establishment/Salon that meets Requirements.
- No GED required; No SSN required we accept ITIN
- Classes in English, Spanish, or Arabic
Barbering
CA Apprenticeship Program- Licensure Classes
- Exam Prep Classes only once a week
- Receive a CA BBC Apprenticeship License
- Work at an Establishment/Barbershop that meets Requirements.

- Classes in English, Spanish, or Arabic
Lash Lift & Eyebrow Lamination
Hands on learning that includes both theory lesson and practical piece. Generate greater income offering these services in the salon. (Not for licensure)
- This class is currently only offered in Spanish
- Includes materials for the in-class practical piece
- Step-by-step guided teaching
- Receive a free marketing poster for the salon to start generating greater income
- Lash lift, lash pigmentation, eyebrow lamination, eyebrow pigmentation
Haircutting Classes
Advanced techniques (Not for licensure)
- Each haircut is taught from beginning to end
- Theory & practical piece
- Elevate your haircuts to offer the best techniques in the salon or barbershop
- Live demonstration in each class
- Refined finishing styling with each haircut
Waxing Certificate program
Waxing Techniques (Not for Licensure)
- 3 days of in-depth education
- Theory and Practical throughout
- English or Spanish
- Monday - Wednesday 6pm-9pm
- Full-body and Sugar Waxing

So, I was glad to discover Ares apprenticeship program is a program in which you get a pre-license to work in the industry while you study to obtain your State BoardCosmetology License. This pre-license allowed me to quit my minimum wage job and immediately start making money in a career I am passionate about. Ares has helped me connect with other stylist in the industry and most importantly connected me to people who mentored me, so I can be a professional Cosmetologist. Ares for me is a great blessing. Hello! My name is Guadalupe. I believe to be successful, it is important to always add to your learning, so you can master the art of your profession. For me, Ares Beauty and Education is a prestigious academy where I had the opportunity to add to my learning through the apprenticeship program. Ares taught me new skills in Cosmetology and even offered advance classes throughout the 18 months I attended. I learned safety knowledge for both myself and the client. I learned how to perform services such as haircuts, manicures, facials, etc. In this academy you find excellent teachers, friendship, and a great trained staff that has knowledge of the state requirements. Through Ares, I have achieved one of my biggest dreams of being now a professional stylist.
